chicken burrata tomatoes - Tomato Chicken Burrata

Tomato Chicken Burrata

This chicken burrata is a fresher, richer version of the classic Italian dish, chicken parmesan. Jarred tomato sauce is replaced by fresh tomatoes that are sautéed until they burst with juicy flavor. And instead of packaged shredded mozzarella and parmesan cheese, you’ll finish this tomato chicken with creamy, buttery burrata cheese – a swap that completely changes the dish! The chicken in this recipe is similar to my Parmesan Crusted Chicken, but instead of parmesan cheese, you’ll coat your chicken in a savory blend of pork panko (aka crushed up pork rinds) and Italian seasoning. The panko mixture pairs so well with the tomato and burrata, like a little explosion of flavor and texture in each and every bite!

Cilantro lime chicken can be cooked via multiple cooking methods. Depending on the time of year, you may prefer one method over the other. During the Summer, grilled chicken is welcomed; however, during the winter months, roasted cilantro lime chicken provides comfort.GrillIdeal for summer cookouts or barbeques, grilling cilantro lime chicken adds a char-broiled flavor that is delicious along with the zesty lime. Serve with lime wedges and along with a fresh summer salad.Air fryerTo make air fryer cilantro lime chicken, air fry the chicken in a single layer at 380 degrees for 5 minutes on each side.SkilletThe stovetop method for cooking this marinated chicken is easy. Add a few tablespoons of oil to a skillet heated over medium high heat. Add chicken and cook for 4-6 minutes on each side (depending on the thickness, bone-in and cut of chicken). After flipping, pour the leftover marinade into the skillet and let chicken braise until cooked to an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.Oven RoastedTo make oven roasted cilantro lime chicken, add chicken to a baking dish or foil lined sheet pan in a single layer. keto fried chicken - Keto Fried Chicken

Keto Fried Chicken

Use buttermilkButtermilk changes the way the fatty skin responds to hot oil, making it really crispy. Regular milk, just eggs, or water won’t give you the same level of crispiness. Buttermilk is often used to brine the chicken in order to make it tender and juicy.Egg whites instead of whole eggsThe fat in the yolk of a whole egg can add moisture to the wash, making the coating not as crispy. Skip the yolks and just use the whites.Don’t skip the vodkaWhile vodka is technically optional, it helps coat the crust and form flakey layers in the coating. Don’t worry about it making you drunk, the alcohol will evaporate off from the high temperature. If you don’t have vodka, any neutral spirit will work.Baking powder or baking sodaFor this recipe, either will work since the buttermilk acts as an acid, which would help activate baking soda. I like using baking powder as it adds a bit more puffiness to the coating and increases the browning/crispiness effect.

caesar chicken and parmesan.jpg - Caesar Chicken

Caesar Chicken

Caesar chicken is a flavor-packed 4 ingredient meal that offers the convenience of being prepared and cooked in one pot without compromising on taste or presentation. This easy chicken casserole recipe takes advantage of Caesar salad dressing to maintain the chicken’s juiciness and provide a bold, tangy flavor that is excellent over cauliflower rice or noodles.Using boneless, skinless chicken thighs (although chicken breast can be used too), parmesan cheese, Caesar dressing and sour cream, this easy baked chicken recipe comes together in just over 30 minutes – making it the ideal weeknight dish when you don’t want to put in a lot of effort cooking or doing dishes afterwards. The magic of this recipe is in the Caesar dressing. To keep in line with the simplicity of this chicken casserole recipe, you can use bottle Caesar salad dressing or make your own with fresh ingredients. Of course, freshly prepared dressing will always have the best flavor.Instead of coating the chicken with flour, grated parmesan cheese is used. This adds flavor but also helps to seal in those juices preventing dry, tough chicken which is common in many baked chicken recipes.

blackened chicken .jpg - Blackened Chicken

Blackened Chicken

Blackened seasoning is also referred to as Cajun spice since these spices and similar method of blackening quick cooking proteins are used often in Cajun cooking.Typically blackened seasoning contains a mixture of paprika, cumin, thyme, oregano, onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Other seasonings like crushed red pepper flakes and cayenne pepper can be added for heat. Other herbs can be used in addition or interchangeable like dried parsley, cilantro and basil. Smoked paprika can be used instead of regular paprika for an intense smoky flavor. To get the seasoning to stick to the chicken, cooking oil is lightly coated on the chicken. Some recipes will create a paste by adding avocado oil or canola oil to the seasoning mix then brushing this all over the chicken. Oils with a high smoke point should be used to keep the oil from oxidizing. Olive oil doesn’t have a high smoke point, so I don’t recommend it if blackening proteins like chicken, fish or pork.Is blackened chicken spicy? In this blackened seasoning recipe, cayenne pepper adds heat and can make this chicken spicy. To tame down the heat, omit the cayenne pepper or just add a pinch.
